I'm Jack Light, and I started spinning records in 1979. Back then, nobody was talking about wireless microphones or LED uplighting. We just showed up with our gear, read the crowd, and made people dance. Some things haven't changed. Over the past four-plus decades, I've had the privilege of being part of thousands of weddings across the Texas Panhandle and beyond. I've set up at intimate ranches in the middle of nowhere and grand ballrooms in downtown Amarillo. I've played Frank Sinatra for grandmothers and Post Malone for the groomsmen. I've kept ceremonies moving on 50 mph wind days and kept dance floors packed until the venue turned the lights on. That's why I am the preferred Amarillo wedding DJ with so many venues and other wedding vendors.

Why Experience Matters on Your Wedding Day
A lot can go wrong at a wedding. Timelines slip. Vendors run late. The groom's uncle wants to make an unexpected toast. An inexperienced DJ panics. I've seen all of it, and I've learned how to handle all of it, calmly, quietly, and without ever letting your guests know there was a hiccup. That's what 40+ years buys you: zero wedding day surprises.

I've performed at the majority of the wedding venues in the Amarillo area and am the preferred DJ at many of them. That means I know the acoustics, the layout, the load-in process, and the staff. When you book me, you're not getting someone who's going to show up and figure things out on the fly, you're getting someone who's already done that at your venue, probably dozens of times. I'm proud to serve couples throughout Amarillo, Canyon, Borger, Pampa, Hereford, Dumas, Canadian, Bushland, and across the Texas Panhandle.
